Requirements for the au pair in Germany
You are between 18 and 26 years old
You have basic knowledge of German (at least A1)
You don't have any children yourself
You have a valid passport
You are able to pay for the flight to Germany
What awaits you as an au pair from your host family
You get 280 euros pocket money per month
You will receive a subsidy of 50 euros per month for the language course
The host family will cover the cost of your health insurance
Your duties in the host family are childcare and light housework
You get paid vacation and regularly have free evenings and weekends
You work a maximum of 30 hours per week
You live with your host family and have board and lodging free
As an au pair you are a family member with your host family
