Health insurance for au pair

Information for Au Pair Programm
Requirements for the au pair in Germany

You are between 18 and 26 years old
-
You have basic knowledge of German (at least A1)
-
You do not have children
-
You have a valid passport
-
You are able to pay for the flight to Germany
This is what you can expect as an au pair from your host family
-
You will receive 280 Euro pocket money per month.

You will receive an allowance of 50 euros per month for the language course.

The host family will pay for your health insurance.
-
Your tasks in the host family are child care and light housework
-
You will get paid holidays and have regular evenings and weekends off.

You work a maximum of 30 hours per week
-
You live with your host family and have free board and lodging.

As an au pair, you are a member of the family of your host family.
